Offering a nature walk within your company means providing your employees with an outdoor educational experience. This tailor-made format adapts to the location of your CSR seminar or corporate event. Led by a Surfrider expert, the walk combines the exploration of natural environments with awareness-raising on environmental issues. It covers topics such as water quality, biodiversity, and coastal development, linked to your company’s activities.
Each educational walk is designed around your event’s location and your team’s needs. Over 5 to 8 stops, participants discover the surrounding natural environment while engaging in fun and informative awareness activities.

Each educational walk offers the opportunity to explore the natural richness surrounding your event site. Along the way, participants discover local wildlife, plant life, wetlands, or coastal ecosystems. These observations are accompanied by expert commentary to better understand the interactions between human activity and the marine environment.
The walk invites participants to slow down, observe, compare, and question their surroundings. By stepping away from their usual work environment, employees cultivate active curiosity and critical thinking. These exchanges often spark broader reflection, which naturally continues during informal moments of your seminar or CSR day.
The educational walk incorporates content on aquatic waste, plastic pollution, and water quality. Participants benefit from expert guidance to understand these issues, through sensory workshops and structured discussions. The experience blends observation, action, and reflection.
By directly observing natural environments, local species, and human impact, your teams gain a clearer understanding of how your company’s activities interact with the environment. This is a key step in developing sustainable habits—both at work and in daily life. Each educational walk helps strengthen a shared environmental culture and brings your CSR strategy to life in a concrete, experiential way.

The educational walk can accommodate between 15 and 50 employees. One Surfrider Foundation Europe facilitator is assigned for every 30 participants to ensure smooth, educational, and safe facilitation. For larger groups, multiple facilitators are present, allowing for smaller breakout groups.
The Act! with Surfrider team provides all the necessary educational materials (briefs, maps, observation tools, etc.). You simply need to communicate practical details to participants (location, schedule, appropriate clothing, weather conditions). Transportation to the walk site is the company's responsibility. This format requires no technical setup, making it easy to integrate into a nature-based or CSR seminar.
The activity can be adapted to a wide range of natural settings: coastlines, forests, wetlands, canals, or urban parks. The route is defined with you based on your location and highlights nearby ecosystems. This corporate nature walk aims to concretely illustrate the interactions between human activity and the environment. It can also include an on-site litter collection if appropriate.
Yes. This is actually one of the most common use cases. The educational walk is designed to fit into events such as corporate seminars, sustainability weeks, or CSR days.
